MEMORY CARD GAME
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
To learn and identify different types of plants, specifically plant leaves.

Plants have a range of characteristics that help us to identify a specific plant. Often we observe plant leaves as they have a diverse range in shape, colour, size, to leaf arrangement. When we are able to recognize these certain characteristics we can even make comparisons between species and understand if certain plants are closely related.

Local Name
Traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) is passed down from generation to generation through oral tradition. With increasing urbanization and lack TEK application, we are losing this knowledge and along with it the traditional names and uses of native plants.

Therefore, it's important that we record and remember their traditional names.
